General / Re: Importing cameras into Standard version.

Ok after the longest trial and error I can report back that it is indeed possible. But I have to use the Bundle .out format for camera import. I makde sure that the bundle file has the cameras in the exact order that I have images in the list in photoscan. Then it seems it works. YAY!

General / Importing cameras into Standard version.

I'm trying to import a bunch of already solved cameras into the Standard version of Photoscan.

The cameras i try to import are perfectly aligned and each camera is named exactly as the image. I export these cameras from 3dsMAX as an FBX. Then I load the images into Photoscan and then I go file, import, import cameras and load the FBX. Photoscan then instantly opens a "Build Pointcloud" dialog. I hit OK and then it runs but nothing happens. And none of the images flag as aligned.

Is there something very specific I need to do to get this to work?

Do i have to name the cameras some special way?

I cant find anything in the documentation.

Just the ability to be able to mark three points in the source images that so that if I have to resolve the camera alignment I can ensure that I get the same orientation position and scale of the scene.

Good to hear that this bug is being worked on! Any idea on when we can expect the next version?

General / Refine solve using camera pose estimations.

I have a dataset of images where each image has a relatively good estimate of position and attitude as metadata. (position is off by a couple of percent of the distance between camera and target and pointing is off with a couple of percent of the FOV)

I import the camera data via the bundler input.

when I do so the software treats the incoming cameras as already perfectly solved data. So the small misalignments in position and rotation makes the solve come out really bad.

Is there any way to tell Agisoft that the camera data is a good startingpoint but that it could use a little fine tuning?

(Agisoft throws away too many images when just solving from scratch)

I'm a standard version user but if it is only possible in pro pleas let me know anyway.
