General / Making a psz file from a folder of agisoft files
« on: October 15, 2015, 07:30:43 PM »
Hi,

I apparently extracted the contents of a psz file a while ago but then got rid of the psz file. I'd like to create a psz file from this folder so I can open it in Agisoft again without running it again so that I can just create the orthophoto and DEM. Is this possible, and if so how?

Thanks

General / get camera positions in models0.ply
« on: August 12, 2015, 08:22:42 PM »
Hi,

After running agisoft to get the dense cloud I end up with a models0.ply file, which I view in Meshlab.  I also export the cameras using agisoft and now want to create a ply file that I can import with the models0.ply file containing all of the dense points. I get the rotation matrix (R) and translation(t). for each camera how do I get its position to be in the same coordinate frame as models0.ply? I've tried where the camera position = t and where it is R * t, -R' * t, but these don't work.

Can someone help with this?

Thanks
Gordon

General / Workflow without altitude data
« on: August 04, 2015, 07:35:15 PM »
Hi,

I want to input images with GPS tags, and output a georeferenced point cloud. I store GPS data in a text file with an estimate of the altitude (but I want the camera position to change in z if needed).

Is it as simple as running the workflow to align photos and then build dense cloud with the settings set to WGS? Is there anything else I'm missing. Also, will it matter that the altitude is an estimate, or will it hold that altitude for each camera position?

Thanks
Gordon

General / Georeference point cloud
« on: August 04, 2015, 02:37:31 AM »
Hi,

I recently ran Agisoft on a batch of images.  In the reference tab I imported the GPS coordinates for each image and it seemed to recognize it and use it for processing. After building the dense cloud, the resulting points don't seem to be georeferenced as I expected. Are they supposed to be if everything was done correctly?

Thanks

General / Projecting 3D points onto the images
« on: July 20, 2015, 07:19:13 PM »
Is it possible to project a 3D point from the dense cloud into each image that it was visible in?

I have two cameras, where one is visual and one is not, where the visual images are used for the reconstruction. If I can project those points then I can use a calibration to get the values from the images of the other camera.

Is this possible with Agisoft?

Thanks

General / Projecting 3D point cloud to 2D images
« on: July 13, 2015, 11:20:06 PM »
Hi all,

I would like to be able to project the dense 3D point cloud points onto each of the 2D images used to create the reconstruction.  Is this possible with Agisoft's outputs?

Thanks
Gordon
