Hello,
what is this "image based shape drawing support" feature?
How does it work?
Thank you
Mathias

Thank you.
Just to be sure:
If the GCP's are enough und well measured with  RTK-GPS I do not need a RTK-GPS in the UAV?
But if I have a RTK-GPS in the UAV I can reduce the amount of GCP's?

Do I have to move the flag even if it is on the right place?
A moved marker gets green to symbolize that it is proper. Should therefor all markers be green?

Thank you!
That means if my images have a GSD of 1,5cm the z accuracy will be less the 5cm?
In our UAV there is no RTK-GPS. I assume you mean that the GPS for the GCP's should be a RTK-GPS to achieve the accuracy of less than 3cm, right?
What does "well distributed GCP's" mean? What should be the minimum distance between them? How much GPS's are required tor an area of 120 hectares?
That you very much for your help!

Hi Frank,
can you tell us what average vertical accuracy you get?

Hello Alexey,

what do you mean by "to use low orientation accuracy"?
Do you mean i should set the Accuracy in the aligning process to low?

Data collected by flying beneath a bridge are as well not right computed with Photoscan 1.2. With Photoscan 1.1.6 the photos are aligned correctly.

Hello Alexey,
yes there are Yaw, Pitch and Roll data for the cameras.
Unfortunately the Pitch degree is vice versa (180° instead of 0°).
But Photoscan corrected this.
But the data are the same for 1.1.6 and 1.2.

Aligning a certain dataset in 1.2 does leads to a wrong coordinate system orientation. In 1.6 the orientation is correct.
Bug or mishandling?

Hello Alexey,
yes, I have converted the data in a different coordinate system.
Is this the reason for the empty extend?

If I try to generate an orthomosaic from the DEM of my project I get a "Empty extent" message after analyzing the DEM.
Generation from mesh works.
What is happening here?

Hello Alexey,
I am unable to open pox files via the open dialog.
psx files are greyed out. Just psz files are not greyed.
The only way to open my projects is via the used documents commond in the file menu.
Working on Mac 10.10.5
Best,
Mathias

Hello Alexey,
I was using the same parameters (standard options).
Hers is  a screenshot and the logfile. During the first attempt my computer crashed.

Hello,

buildding Orthomosaic from mesh gets slow after 3% and freezes after 10%.
Dense point cloud has 38Mio points, mesh 2,4 Mio faces. 8GB RAM, 100GB free Disc space (which is still 80GB while freezing).
In 1.1.6 the orthofoto export works without problems.

Regards,
Mathias

Hello,
did you change the way the sparse cloud (align photos) is computed.
I achieved better results (less misaligned photos) with 1.1.6 than in 1.2.

Mathias
