General / Re: only integrated GPU in use
« on: February 18, 2020, 11:20:03 PM »
I'm on building dense cloud step - reconstruction depth.  My integrated GPU engine work almost at 100% while Nvidia Geforce is not used at all.

I think those percentages show the Utilization of each GPU.

" I recommend to open the full page related to each GPU and switch one of the graphs for your NVIDIA card to "Cuda" option and check the utilization of the GPU, providing that the current stage is GPU-supported." - how i can do that? can you provide some advice how to accomplish that?

I'm processing data in Agisoft PhotoScan 1.4.5, laptop that I'm using has two GPU:
-GeForce RTX2080 max-Q
-Intel UHD Graphics 630

For calculation Dense Cloud Agisoft  never use RTX2080, in Nvidia Control Panel i set preference graphic card to RTX but that doesn't help.

Anyone know how to force Agisoft PhotoScan to use much more powerful graphic card?

Hi there, I have a problem with DEM.
I'm trying to build DEM base on Mesh data, for some reason part of data are missing (see attachment)
Anyone know what could possibly cause the problem?

Thanks, Magda

You are awesome! That was the point.  After huge fight finally I am able to bring my oriented lidar data with mounted on top camera into Agisoft! Once again thank you.

I think so. My data come from Riegl VZ-2000,  mesh, images and camera orientation and position are in same 'project' coordinates and it's equal to UTM 34S with offset X=484053.977400000 Y=6327080.357700000.

Any one try to import mesh and images from different software (i. e. Riscan Pro or RealityCapture) and try texturing in Agisoft Photoscan? Any ideas how import mesh in correct place?

I would like to texture in Agisoft my mesh built in MeshLab.
I’m able to import precalibrated camera locations using Import Cameras and also I’m able to import mesh but I think mesh is in some random location… so images and mesh are in wrong relation to each other (in attachment correct and wrong relation images to mesh).

Do you know how to correctly import mesh?

Ps. My mesh is in UTM 34S with offset X=484053.977400000 Y=6327080.357700000

Hi there,

Anyone else meet troubles during importing cameras on Bundler (*.out) file format?
I've got those files from VisualSFM, Meshlab read it correctly but I can't open it in Agisoft :(

General / Texture size/count
« on: June 15, 2016, 01:12:44 PM »
Hi guys,
Do you have some rules how to set up good Texture size/count parameters?
My PC is not very powerful so I always choose 4096 texture size but what about count value? I have image data in 4cm ground resolution and would like to keep that resolution for my texture, do you know how to calculate how many texture files atlas I need?

Key Point Limit
The maximum number of points Photoscan will extract from each photo. For a high quality 36 Megapixel photo the maximum number of points that can be extract is usually around 240000. For a 21 Megapixel photo this is generally 180000 points.

How you know that from 36 Megapixel photo you can extract around 240000 keypoint?
I used Phantom 3 to take a pictures, my camera is 12Megapixel how I can calculate my max. number of potential key point?

Thank,
Magda

General / Re: WANTED! looking for UK geoid model OSGM02
« on: February 10, 2016, 10:50:48 PM »
Hi Tim.

I already have geoid model for UK but now I have a problem with using it in Agisoft... I would like to export from Agisoft my 3D model in OSGB 1936 / British National Grid + ODN height (EPSG:7405), but I don't know how to define to use my OSGM02 rather than EGM96.

Anyone of you try to use different geoid model in Agisoft?

Hi all,

Does anyone have access to national geoid model OSGM02 used in Great Britain?
Your help much appreciated  ;)
