General / Recommendations for room scan with big shelf in the middle

Hi,

do you have any recommendation for photoscanning a long room like this with a big, long shelf in the middle?
(360° Ricoh photo)



The first time I tried (my back to the walls, one circle around the room, DSLR with 50 mm focal length), Photoscan produced a scan from the shelf in the middle, because my camera wasn't able to see the walls of the room good enough.
I made the photos vertically to get as much as possible on the images, but this didn't work with the calibration and got some strange results.

Would you be so kind to tell me what I can make better?

General / "Image size mismatch"

Hi all,

I'm trying to work with a lot of vertical images of an interior room. The results lack orientation (looks like many rooms over another). I tried to use my calibration file to get better results, but I got the error message "Image size mismatch". So I made vertical calibration images and created a calibration file. But I also get the error message "Image size mismatch". The images were made with the same camera without cropping.
Do you have an idea how I can improve the photoscan results for vertical images?
Unfortunately it's not possible to get horizontal images from the same location as it was a special event.
