General / Texture problem
« on: February 07, 2020, 05:03:13 PM »
Hello,
i got the blur part of my model texture(see attach). Actually, i use the good fotos to make texture.
What can i do now? Have someone idea?

Thanks

General / coded targets
« on: January 09, 2020, 06:04:38 PM »
Hello,
i use the 'detect markers' function, let photoscan automatic search the coded targets, and then import my coordinates.
I select 'Ignore labels' in 'import CSV' dialog box, at beginning, i set 'Threshold(m): 0.1', but the coordinates correspond to the false targets (for example target1 schould correspond my 1001 marker coordinate, but now target1 had 1010 marker coordinate). Then I change the 'Threshold(m): 0.01', I get the right result.
Did someone know how photoscan here worked? And is there some other sulotions for this problem?

Thanks

Yes, I already did it, but still not change.

General / Filter by selection

Hello,
now i use the version 1.5.5 build 9097 (64bit), and i use the ''filter by selection'' function, and then ''smooth mesh'', but suddenly appears the complete model, not my selected part.
I think about half year ago, there was no problem with this function.

thanks

Hello jaskol95,
how many point have your dense point cloud? And how many faces have your mesh?

Anybody knows that?

Tanks, I also saw that, but that's why I ask this question.
Is there some rule to write the 'parameter' and 'value', and what means the this function?

Hello,
does someone knows what means 'Tweaks...' (in menu 'Tools' > 'preferences' > 'advanced' > button 'Tweaks')?

thanks

Hello ugo,

If you uncheck the markers in the Reference pane that do not have correct correspondence with the label (hope there are still quite a number of correctly corresponding markers) and press Update button on the pane's toolbar, do you observe large errors on the unchecked markers?

Unfortunately, they (6 points) are all uncorrect.

If I use the PhS prints targets, is it same way to get the coordinates?

Hello ugo,

Try to use 0.5m tolerance and select only Markers in the Items field.

The operation should be performed after the cameras are aligned and non-coded targets are detected.

Okay, now the detect points have the GCP number, but they are not correct correspond. For example, in photo  the point number is 119, but now it is 124. Is that means, the previous align is wrong? How can i correct it?

Hello ugo,

Please check, if using Ignore Labels option and definition of the tolerance threshold in Import CSV dialog do solve the required task and the detected markers from your project are automatically renamed according to the CSV file.

Hi Alexey,
I tried to use you advice, but it is not useful. Maybe I did some wrong? I use the Ignore Labels option, and just keep the threshold 0.1, but I dont know what means this threshold. And the import file must be CSV?

Thanks mikeyjump,
that is not really what i need. If i detect markers, then PhS find the points, but they dont have coordinates. I want to  give them the coordinates from my points (they are in the same position), and maybe i can also still use the nuber of my points.
In the other words, I have too many GCP and photos, but i want that Phs automatic find them with their coordinates, not all with manuell to do.

Hello,
i readed the PhotoScan user manual, that kapitle 'Non-coded targets implementation', it finds the point, but I want to ask, can i get the points have the same number like it in the import file (not like 'point 1').
