Hi Piste

Could you provide which camera/lens did you use?
And you need at least the focal from camera to put in the PS to work properly.

Hi Diego

We already thought in stereo restitution, but would like to know if its possible to do using meshes.
I had a friend that works with terrestrial lidar and he is doing a lot as built factories plant drawings.
In architeture people are doing this too, so I would like to provide a real solution for those two customers using clouds points/meshes...

I really really really NEED help on this.
Two customers are asking me to do a as built CAD drawings of some their plants using my 3D models.
I deliver them in pdf 3d or in ply/obj format.
They saw another company doing this using terrestrial laser scanner, but they want to me to do it.
What I did just for a test: exported the 3D model in dxf and in Autocad Map 3D I tried to draw one plant.
It was painful at least, and the drawing is so heavy that my tech almost couldn?t handle it.
I looked at internet and it seems there is some good softwares to do this, but I would like to know if you know a better software solution to do this.
It seems Autocad 3DS Design do this more easily, but I never used it..

Thanks in advance!

Could you share some IR photos to do a test?
I ask this because I have this same question and would like to know how this will work.

« on: August 11, 2012, 04:01:32 AM »
Before I send to you let explain what I did:

- I did a super resolution sampling to video and now I will extract the new frames.
- I will put those new frames in PS and see the results.

As soon I finish I will put the results here.

General / Low resolution video frames
« on: August 10, 2012, 04:13:34 AM »
Hi guys

I hope some one can help me on this.
A big company ask me to deal with some video frames with 800 x 600 resolution.
They work with machine supervision and they have a lot film cameras.
I did some treatment and worked fine with the alignment, but when I try to do the mesh things are going bad.
I would like to know if there are some special photo treatment do increase the resolution, or if this is right thing to do.
The imagery has 72 dpi and the frames have 500-600 k size.

Thanks in advance.

Hi  guys

I would like to share some things I saw in the web. If you have your models you can use Sculpteo, upload your file and then will be online to see.
Quite good, but you must have a account and login to upload.
I liked because you can embed the file to your website/customer.
Check some I put there:
Another one is the, Wishgranter send to me a link, good but has some size limitation.
Another thing I saw, and I hope you don?t mind to share here, is the web viewer.
Quite amazing!
If the guys at PS could deliver a web viewer like this I can tell you, I would sell LOT more projects to my clients. Trust me.

"Added Timeline pane and support for 4D dynamic model reconstruction."

I downloaded the new version but don?t know what this does.
And what is the 4D dynamic model reconstruction?
