Thanks!
Very nice your suport. Now I?ll have to discover how much my hardware can do... ;)
By the way I would like to suggest a thing: a proper high resolution viewer to instal to customers? pc.
It would be nice if they can handle this by themselves. And more, if they could see the project in stereo, anaglyph or whatever, to choose the pair they want to see, I think you gonna be head and shoulders above others softwares.
Again, thanks for your reply.

So, what am I doing wrong?

Your problem is in trying to use a pdf to present such great results.

Well, like I said before: The same thing happens when I export to obj or ply.

So, to my clients is easier to see the final product in pdf or to see in MeshLab. The problem is: why the jpg render is all black?

Hi guys

I need some help.
I?ve been using Photoscan for great results, really. I use a full frame camera, a Canon EOS 5D MK II to do the jobs and I am very happy with the setup.
But I need to export to pdf and when I use a set with a 80 to 100 images the texture jpg just shows a black imagery. When I open the pdf just show a white scene.
I?ve been using a 12.000 atlas width and height to do texture to better visual showing.
When I use the default it goes fine, but I need high resolution to show to my clients.
The same thing happens when I export to obj or ply.
So, what am I doing wrong?

I did all this you told me, nothing worked. Previously I had the trial version instaled, I think 754 or something like that.
I unninstaled it and tried the newest one, then gave me that error.

Hi guys.

I need some help. I just update my computer with a lot RAM (14G), lot space -2 Terabytes HD, etc etc. But when I will install Photoscan latest version give me this message:

"The advertised application will not be installed because
it might be unsafe. Contact your administrator to change
the installation user interface option of the package to
basic."

I googled for a help but every single one give me different solution. One said to format my pc...
I use Win 7 64 bit.

I need this working because:
- I have some heavy projects here.
- I bought the Professional Edition, so I want the thing working properly.

Thanks in advance.

Feature Requests / Re: Total RMSE in New Version
« on: May 24, 2011, 03:17:43 PM »
I would like to add to this to put a RMS for X, Y and Z coordinates, because some of my customers would like to know the error specially in Z.
I think this will improve the overall quality control of my projects.
If ask more I would like a stereovision because some clients, mainly geological engineers, require to see their mine pits in this.
By the way, great software.

I upgraded to new version and I saw you couldn?t use datum other than WGS 84 for georreferenced projects. I need to use SAD69 or SIRGAS, so how can I use those?

This is nice to know.
When you talk about reasonable time how long this is it? 5 or 6 hours or more?

Thanks in advance.

General / Large sets of imagery
« on: January 28, 2011, 03:05:02 PM »
Hi

I am a cartographer engineer here in Brazil and we are testing Photoscan. We got some pretty good results and we are considering to buy it. Nowadays we are doing some projects with some large sets of imagery, i.e., more than 3 or 4 thousand photos. I would like to know how Photoscan can handle this, and if we could have a custom feature to deal to this large sets.
I hope to hear from you soon.
