Feature Requests / Need a tool to export a few select markers or shapefiles

When you export markers or shapefiles from metashape to any other GIS Softwares, is there a way around to just select a few markers or shapefiles to export ?


I'd like to see  one tool to enable a few selected and then export them rather than to have selected all of them ...

General / WGS 1984 Geoid Question ?

Does Metashape comes with WGS 1984 Geoid for the Vertical Datum and Vertical Coordinate System  (WKID 105700) ?

SO whenever I export any markers or shapefiles,  and when I open them in ArcMap 10.5.1 or ArcGIS Pro, I can see they are actually up in height rather at the ground.  I had to manual to set them to the ground.

General / Problem with Filter by Photo Marker Question

I have a question that I am having an issue with this..

I have a Point 10 on my ortho to view it...Problem according to my Projections it says 2 but when I use the Filter by Photo Markers.  It shows 3 Photos there ?

The photos that has the markers are on  19381021_bov_36-091 and 19381021_bov_36_092 .  The other photo that I had the marker on 19381021_bov_10_051 and I had to unpin or block it... but it is still there and I believe it may have affect the workflow


How do I fix this problem ?

General / Move or copy a or few markers from Chunk 1 to Chunk 2 Question

Is there a way around for me to copy the markers from Chunk 1 to Chunk 2 ?

Is that possible ?

P.S. As of 15 January 2020, Yes I am aware that you can duplicate a original chunk and rename to chunk 2 and re-do or clean up and that sort of thing...

Python and Java API / Footprint script needs to updated for 1.6

Ahhhhhh..

I just upgrade to Metashape 1.6 and ran a script to build footprints and now it can't run because the script was for 1.5.

I was wonder if someone can work on it and update the new script ?

The script is attachment here...

I am myself deaf/ hearing impaired so I like to learn what others are doing and dealing with the issues...

Keep in mind it is not meant  for me but it is to help others too..

Texture De-Lighter / Texture De-Ligther question for the aerial photographs ?

Hi

I am aware that Agisoft that has their Texture De-Lighter program.  The only question I have is ....will this work for aerial imagery before I bring them into Metashape or is it for Face or Body scanning ?

I am just wondering about this.

Feature Requests / Suggest add a view for 2D Model

I wonder if the Model View is an 3D view  ?  If that is the case, could you have 2D view  ie :  Model 2D view tab to the next version ?


P.S. I am modified this to add a bit more clearer, perhaps add a button for those that worked with aerial photography or drones side ?  For others not needed.

General / Model View blue flag with dot Question

I do have a question for you.

In the Model View, when you have a blue flag plotted or (markers) it was a dot that was in orange . When I change to Photo View and plotted each photo. When I was finished, i went back to the Model View the dot was from Orange to Red  ?

What does this mean ?

General / Python script not saved in Menu ?

For some reason, whenever I add the script to the Metashape and ran it, and then thinking that it will stay there permanently and the next day it is not there.
I had to add it to the software each time I open it.

What is the reason for that for it not to be there permanently when you save the project ?

General / Footprints script

Hi

Have a question about the script I have for creating footprints.  It is funny thing that when I ran it and it would not show up on my screen BUT when I export it to shapefile to add in ArcGIS Pro it is showing up. I have had no problems running it in the past when I installed my Metashape.  Do you have any answer to why ?
