Great ! i hope you'll find out why i'm getting bad results.

for comparison here is the model with good textures i'm getting with apple photocatch (remember to select hd textures).

The 3D model geometry is far better in metashape.

Hi,

i have issues with the texture génération. Very often some parts of my model have bad blurry texture.

Here for exemple:

Metashape model (ultra high setting, 32x4k texture) (don't forget to select hd for textures in the tool box)

Look around the mouth for example.

is the modification in the tile generation or export part ?

If i have a tiled model from a previous version, can i export it with this new version and it will work ? or do i have to generate the tiles again with the new version ?

Is there a way to split a mesh the way we can split chunks ?

i tried to use split chunks but it doesn't split the included mesh.

I'm using 8k textures.

How can i find how many of them i need for a model to get the best result ?

using too few is obviously not giving a good result.

but i have noticed that too many gives a worse result too so it's important to have a way to find the right number.

Great it's now working fine using cesium js !

but it's still doesn't work in aframe, any idea why ?

is 1.8beta exporter already optimized for maximumSSE = 16 ?
