thanks i know i can rotate it, but once rotated i want to set it as the vertical position to be able to find it back quickly, otherwise each time i rotate the model to see another angle i have to set it vertical again and as my model is rather big it's difficult because it takes a lot of time to refresh each time that i try to rotate

i currently have a 9900k / 3080gtx / 128go ram computer.

without budget limitation what would be the best upgrade ?

would a workstation with multi cpu or a Threadripper PRO be a lot faster ?

(using windows 10 pro)

I find it very difficult to rotate the model with the mouse when the "rotate sphere" is not visible.

is there a way to rotate it using keyboard instead ?

Is there a way to tell metashape what is the correct vertical orientation ?

When i stiched 2D panoramas, i can choose two points verticaly aligned and the it will be used to set the correct orientation.

Is there a way to make this in metashape ?

Each time i rotate the model to see another angle i struggle to put it back vertical. I would like to be able to click on a button and have the model vertical back. Is it possible ?

Hi,

i'm taking 360° pictures sets to use in a photogrammetry project.

i know where the station is and where the camera is facing (pitch, yaw) for each of the photos (i'm using a motorized head i have developped).

How can i import this information into metashape when adding the photos ?

Hi,

i'm starting a photogrammetry project. I'm taking many 360 pictures sets ( more than 20 sets) in the Sainte Chapelle in Paris (one exemple: https://kuula.co/post/7CKPMs).

This is my first try with photogrammetry using 360 pictures sets.

I was wondering if i should stich each set in a 360 equirectangular picture first or import all photos in metashape and use the set as station feature for each group ?

Each group is made of a little more than 300 60MP pics (from 7r4 with a 70mm lens).

What is the max picture size to import into metashape ? each stiched 360 picture is between 8 and 9 gigapixels.
