I've had this issue in prior versions and from other posts it appears others are also having a problem with "disabled" interpolation and resulting meshes appearing to still be interpolated.

For what it's worth, the projects I have experienced this with include LiDAR data.

I am meshing a flat surface, using strict volumetric masks, Depth Maps + Laser scans. The resulting mesh edges of the flat surface are rounded off. This causes quite an inconvenience in the workflow for this project.

I am exploring getting WGS84 coordinate Laser scans and drone data exported to e57/FBX file using a marker as a pre-determined local coordinate. It seems this can be done with a custom projection file? I am not familiar with the syntax. Hoping someone can provide an example or shed some light on this. Thanks in advance.

Does Metashape calculate the accuracy of the projected position of the camera itself? What would this be called in the general photogrammetry process?

General / Import e57 Laser Scans, Points and Images

I am trying to import Laser Scans in e57 format exported from Leica Cyclone but I cannot get the points and panoramas imported together. If I import as Laser Scans I only get panoramas. If I import as points, I only get the point cloud. I want to use the panoramas to texture a mesh, but when imported as laser scans, the cameras are listed as not aligned, though they are displayed in their proper alligned positions as exported from Cyclone.

General / Recommended noise pattern for structured light projection

I am using some projected structured light on my subject, is there are recommended noise pattern to use that works best with metashape? Would be a great feature to have a pattern programmed into the software that one can print out similar to the targets. Or maybe that already exists?
