Bug Reports / Re: Mesh view distortion

Here are the two images. This first one is of the textured view without the distortion.

The second one shows what happens when I move my cursor over the mesh window.

Hopefully this works.

Thank you.

It looks that way but it's not zoomed in too close. I had to crop the image in order to post it on the forum so the whole object was within the view. The distortion remains whether I zoom or not. I will type the notes from the console.

Here is a picture of the display distortion I am getting.

I see, thank you. Now does this also apply to merging chunks?

Would it still be feasible to divide these 149 photos into 4 chunks, then merge those chunks as individual units, or will it still perceive 149 photos to process?

Thank you for the responses. I appreciate the advice; however, I can't take a screenshot nor check the log because I am processing a chunk right now. I started this chunk on Tuesday and it's almost been going for 72 hours already. It's stuck on

Generating Mesh 10% 40 hours elapsed.

The timer continues to tick but the percentage doesn't move.

We are using a HP Elitebook Workstation with 24GB RAM, Intel i7 Quad Core 2.4GHZ, and a decent video card.

I am generating 149 photos. Each photo is around 5MB and I am processing the geometry in high quality. Should we not be processing so many photos at once?

Bug Reports / Mesh view distortion

Hello everyone. We have begun using PhotoScan for our project at:
http://okeeffeimagingproject.wordpress.com

After the geometry is created we can view the mesh with texture, solid, wireframe without a problem. However, when we close the file and reopen it we have a visual issue.

When I go from point cloud to textured the textured mesh appears. But when I move my mouse cursor over the mesh it disappears and only small portions of the mesh are visible. And they aren't even clearly visible they are distorted with black lines.

This is the computer we are using:
http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/us/en/sm/WF06a/321957-321957-64295-3740645-4307559-5071171.html?dnr=1

We have 24GB RAM and a Intel® Core™ i7-2720QM (2.20 GHz, 6 MB L3 cache) processor.

This happens after every mesh we create. In order to view it again we have to change the view to solid and click back to texture, but if we move the mouse cursor over the mesh it disappears again.

What do you think could be the problem? Any information or advice would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks
