I have a stable system.
This card is unstable.
I had to lower the clock speed below the default parameters.
It works well. Exactly as fast as the old GTX580.
Replacement cards do not have any sense.
But as someone that works well. This congratulations.
Reinstalling the system is the last thing I do.
ATI is the way it is. no miracles.
If someone is going to buy an ATI 7970.
I suggest that first borrow from the store.
See how it really works.
And then possibly buy.

900 photos.
ATI 7970 computer hangs right at the start of the calculation.

tested three day card ATI 7970.
Card freezes the computer.
Drivers have caused a problem with the start-up windows.

I'm sorry, I do not believe in this test.
This test is very specific synthetic.
Something is not right.
My old card is gtx 580 is only 180  million samples / sec
But the time of calculation is very similar.
This test measures the speed of the card, not the real time calculation.

I did some tests on large files.
Without masks.
Photos lot of detail. Lot of points
MPX 21, 40 - 100 images.
tests from 4 minutes to 60 minutes.
I have clear results that ATI is only 20% faster than the old GTX580 card.

ATI 7970 graphics card is slightly faster than the GTX 580.
