Hello konomax,

You can check the following thread: https://www.agisoft.com/forum/index.php?topic=3996.0
There are some ideas and examples of Python code that seem to be very similar to your needs. However, some adaptation to the latest Metashape API may be requited, so please let me know, if you have any issues with that.

Bug Reports / Re: Waypoint weirdly placed

Hello Mathieu,

If you review the flight plan (camera tracks) in Metashape window, do you observe the same issue - are there any waypoints far from the actual model?

Is it possible, that "append" button has been accidentally pressed on the Animation pane toolbar at any point prior to the flight plan export?

Hello Matthieu,

The suspicious location seems to be related to Latitude = 0 and Longitude = 0. Maybe there are some wrongly referenced parts in the project?

Hello aniket,

It's available as pre-release now:
https://www.agisoft.com/forum/index.php?topic=13736.0
The official release is expected in the very end of December.

Alternatively, you may consider building a tiled model instead of mesh, if you need to visualize large area in high resolution.

Python and Java API / Re: Access to report stats

Hello hud,

You need to calculate these values in the script. Let me know, if you need any assistance, although there were some examples already posted on forum, at least related to reprojection error calculation.

Python and Java API / Re: Photoscan Module is deprecated WARNING
« on: December 02, 2021, 03:01:57 PM »
Hello Costas,

Currently the warning message can be ignored and the script functionality wouldn't be affected, if PhotoScan instead of Metashape module name is used.

But you can check .py files contents in autostart folders, just for case any of them contain "PhotoScan". See the information about autostart folders here:
https://agisoft.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/31000133123-how-to-run-python-script-automatically-on-metashape-professional-start
(you may look for  APK folder instead of Metashape Pro, while using Photogrammetric Kit).

Hello aniket,

According to the log, you are trying to generate the mesh model in Arbitrary mode from the dense cloud, which is very resource demanding operation in Metashape 1.7 and is not, actually, suitable for the large dense clouds.
In Metashape 1.8 the mesh generation mode for this surface+source data type combination has been modified and shouldn't require excessive amounts of RAM.

Hello aniket,

Can you please provide the part of the log from the node related to the failed operation? If there is any sensible information (like image filenames or project paths) just remove it from the log.

Hello Costas,

To avoid the display of this warning message, you can replace the following line in the scripts, where it is present:
Code: [Select]
import PhotoScanwith the following:
Code: [Select]
import Metashape as PhotoScan

Hello Bill,

Can you please provide the screenshot of Build Mesh task parameters from the Batch Process dialog?

Hello Paulo,

If the shape has attached markers to its vertices (shape.is_attached == True), then the list of shape.geometry.coordinates will contain the keys of the related markers (marker.key).

Hello Paul,

shapes in 1.8 version may be represented by the collection of multiple elements and will appear as list of lists via API. So if there's only single shape, then to access the coordinates of the Nth vertex you should use:
Code: [Select]
shape.geometry.coordinates[0][N]

Hello Bill,

To avoid VCRUNTIME140_1.dll error you may need to download and install Microsoft Visual Studio Redistributable Package.

Hello bisenberger,

Are there any disabled cameras in the chunk? Please also check, if the depth maps thumbnails show adequate information in the Photos pane or Photo view mode for all the cameras, or whether some depth maps are completely black?
P.S. the latest pre-release build number is 13597.
