Just follow "marcel" said, export model in OBJ and import it into ZBRUSH or any other software that can do UV work. Reimport the OBJ with new UV into Photoscan and rebuild texture. The most important is selecting the "KEEP UV" when you rebuild the texture.

Hello friends,

I have a question about the speed improvment of Xeon process on "Matching point".
My old system is 1 pcs i7 3770k with amd7970 and 32GB ram.
The matching point for 60 photo will take 40 minutes.

But when I upgrade the system to two Xeon E5-2687W with amd 7970 and 64GB ram,
the matching point time is same to the old 3770k system.

Anyone know the reason? Why 2 pcs 8 core Xeon get same to the single 4 core I7 system?
Are there any setup should be done on  Xeon system?

Hi All,

I am using 7990.
The result of each 7970 core is between 650~950 million samples per second.
So the total result of one 7990 is 1300~1900 million samples per second.
Think about the cost for 7990, it is realy the best one.

If you have more power from the PS and one more PCIE slot.
Two 7990 in the system will be the super machine for photoscan processing.

I am using 38 x Camers on one PC through USB hub.
It is not 100% work, but higher than 80%.

By my experience the dense point cloud that build by the latest version can be used in old build and the result is ok.

Hi Alexey,

The latest 1795 is same to 1780 that the texture is still VERY sparse and some time the texture is whole black.

Would you please try to correct this ASAP?

Currenly we can only use older build for our work.

Hi Marcin,

I got the same result of yours when I use V.1780 few weeks ago.
After that I downgrade the version to the one before 1780.

I am not sure does the 1789 and 1795 already fix it or not.

Will try later.

BTW it is not a always problem. Some results are good.
