Dense cloud can serve as a source for more detailed mesh and DEM reconstruction (compares to sparse cloud based reconstruction). In the version 1.5.0, however, mesh generation operation may be based on the depth maps directly, thus the time consuming stage of the dense cloud filtering can be skipped.
