Display pictures in viewer
« on: January 26, 2019, 03:19:27 PM »
Hello,

Here is what I would like to know if it is possible :

I hade to take more than 150 pictures of an industrial installation.

I generated a .tls file with metashape.

Now in the viewer, I would like to know if when I click somewhere in the .tls model, it is possible to display the pictures that have been used to calculate this "zone".

It could be a very convenient way to find easyly the pictures that I am looking for. Because now I have no other choice to open the folder where all my pictures are and search picture by picture to find the correct one.

I hope it's enough clear.

Thanks for your help.

Hello xavier,

It is not possible to do in Viewer at the moment.

However, if you are still in Metashape Pro interface, you can draw the shape in the area or interes or put the new marker in the point of interest and use Filter photos by marker or shape option - it will display the images in the Photos pane that contain the selected shape or marker, so you can look through these photos (use PgDn / PgUp keys for faster switching the images in the Photo view mode).
