Photoscan combine two object scans to one

Hello,

a little question for the pro's since I just started playing around with photogrammetry for a project. I want to scan bread to use it as an asset, it already looks like it could work but I am facing one problem. In order to get the bottom side, I did a second scan on a different day with a different setup (same camera and lens) and now I need to combine both. I know you can do a second chunk and then move in into the first but I also read about marker alignment (can't I pick identical features on both scans and align them with that?). Also I just want to use the bottom part from the second scan and keep the rest from the original scan.
Any ideas on how to approach this? Here are a couple of pictures:
