Sketchfab upload standalone
« on: February 20, 2019, 09:20:13 PM »
Hi,

I have uploaded a model onto sketchfab via agisoft and it tells me the size of the model is 18mb but when i try to export the model on its own through the sketchfab website it is a bit more than 50mb so i cannot upload it. What model does the "upload" setting upload to sketchfab? Is it the tiled model or just the textured model?  What type of settings do I have to use to export the model in exactly the same way agisoft uploads it to sketchfab? I know I have already uploaded it but i want to figure out how to do it on my own just in case i cannot upload it via the "upload" setting. Thanks for your help in advance.

Hello daraduda,

Sketchfab allows to upload the data packed to ZIP, 7Z and RAR archive that contains the mesh model, material file (if applicable) and texture file.

Direct upload from Metashape is upload of the single-block textured mesh model. As far as I know, Sketchfab doens't yet support tiled models.
