rtx 2070 max-q not processing with gpu
« on: March 05, 2019, 12:05:45 AM »
hi i am using  latest metashape pro and  latest nvidia driver 419.17, when i am in preferences in metashape i disabled cpu and the intel gpu options.

when deselecting rtx and having cpu or intel options clicked it processes.

Do i need to uninstall intel drivers??

From nividia control panel i added metashape and told it to use rtx but thats all the troubleshooting i have done. Any help much appreciated.

Thanks

Hello kamsone1,

I think the thread may be helpful for other users, who may experience similar issues.

From time to time we are receiving reports from the users who have the application crashing when trying to open the GPU preferences tab, and these crashes are related to Intel graphics drivers installed by some Windows update. Removing Intel drives with some utilities (like DisplayDriverUninstaller, for example) should solve the problem, as most of such reports come from the desktop systems that actually do not have any integrated graphics.
