How to determine markers' coordinates (x, y, z) (20 markers) in Metashape?

Is it possible to do it in Agisoft Metashape?

Hello Kadhim,

First create the marker, for example, by using Add Marker option in the point of interest in the Model view or on the Photo view (double-click on a corresponding image in the Photos pane to open it in 2D), then in the Reference pane input the X, Y, Z coordinates by manual inputting the values to the corresponding cells (for bulk input use Import CSV dialog to load the coordinate information for markers from the text file that contains marker labels and coordinate values).
Best regards,

Thanks a lot Alexey for your repley, I already done that. But, the issue is  when I create markers, then imported the 3 known point (which supposed to be placed on one of there markers), but they are Not. Also,  Could you please explain to me how to determine the rest of markers' coordinates (x, y, z) (20 markers) in Metashape? / is it possible to do it in Agisoft Metashape?

What I have done so far:

• loading photos into Agisoft Metashape
• removing unnecessary images;
• aligning photos;
• building dense point cloud; created 20 Markers
• building mesh
• generating texture;
• building tiled model;
• building orthomosaic
Then, I added the unknown points to the software, it appears in the tool bar, but not in the model (nor on the markers)

* I have 3 known point (were measured by Total Stations only).
* I used Solo 3DR Drone
* I do Not have Camera Position (GPS was not built with the drone I used)

Hello Kadim,

yes it is all possible by following Alexey's instructions or chapter "Assigning reference coordinates" in manual, page 53. Make sure that your markers and imported GCPs have identical numbers and don't forget to hit update button!

Best regards

Thanks so much Kiesel for your reply, I already follow the instructions in the manual. The issue is when I  imported the coordinates, the programme (PhotoScan) can not find match for points entry. I tried: WGS84 coordinates system; local coordinates system; OSGB36, and no one of theses coordinates works to match the points.

*When I zoom out, I can see my imported data, as shown in the attachments
* The data was measured by GPS
* I have another data for the same area was measured by Total Stations (I tried with both of them), but nothing work,
* The marker I created in the model are placed at the same positions of the imported coordinates (x,y,z).

So, according to what have mentioned below:
- Would you please give me any suggestion for solving this issue?
- What do you mean by identical numbers? you mean the number of markers should be the same number with the imported data. If so, they have identical number.

I will be so grateful if anyone could help,
Thanks,
