File structure and level of detail
« on: March 12, 2019, 04:57:06 PM »
Hi

I am a newby with Agisoft, and have generated a tiled model, which I now need to reorganise into folders of the same level of detail.

So I have a simple question, which part of the filename represents the level of detail....do I put all the 'a' files together as one level, (a, a1, a11 etc.)  or all the files with similar numbers of digits say a1, b1?

Sorry for being dense!

Thanks

Paul

Hello Paul,

Which format the tiled model has been exported in (what were the export settings used)?
Best regards,

Hi Alexy

I was exporting into a zip file, saving obj files.

No matter, I had a small model I tiled up and then exported, and I can now see that, in terms of LoD a<b<c<d...etc.

I think one problem I had was that I was making the tile size so small I had lots of files which were difficult to make sense of.

Anyway, all good now...thanks for getting back to me.
