GPU not recognized
« on: March 13, 2019, 12:16:03 PM »
The problem here is that the GPU tab in preferences is empty. When I start agisoft everything looks ok. It does show the gpu which is Tesla P100. When I go into preferences and open the GPU tab, the error on the last line is written in the log. Since this I have updated Agisoft to 1.5.1 and still the same problem.

Agisoft PhotoScan Professional Version: 1.4.4 build 6848 (64 bit)
Platform: Windows
CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2630 v4 @ 2.20GHz (server)
CPU family: 6 model: 79 signature: 406F1h
RAM: 96.0 GB
OpenGL Vendor: NVIDIA Corporation
OpenGL Renderer: GRID P100-2B/PCI/SSE2
OpenGL Version: 4.6.0 NVIDIA 412.16
Maximum Texture Size: 32768
Quad Buffered Stereo: not enabled
ARB_vertex_buffer_object: supported
ARB_texture_non_power_of_two: supported
Using simple console. Rich console can be enabled in Preferences dialog.

Hello rover,

I can suggest to make a clean driver install for the latest NVIDIA drivers downloaded directly from their web-site.

If the problem persist, please check, if GPU-Z or similar utilities are able to detect CUDA and OpenCL for your GPU.
Best regards,

Hi!
Here is gpu-z screenshot. It doesn't detect cuda or openCL at this moment. I'll see what I can do about drivers and post again after that.

We learned that the virtual machine needs different kind of license for GPU in order to enable CUDA. We'll make changes to the server and it should work after that  :)
