Hi !

I didn't found out how to solve this it's very annoying ...

Here is my workflow :

1) export from photoscan
2) import into zbrush
3) Resculpt areas of the mesh
4) use decimation master to lower the polycount
5) use zremesher to create organized polys in the right places
6) use uv master to create a clean uv map
7) export from zbrush
9) import into photoscan

When importing again to Photoscan for reprojecting my texture, my model is small and randomly placed. Rotation, position and scale are wrong even if I didn't change anything into Zbrush...

I tested into 3dsmax to reimport and I have to same issue !!! so the problem is in the export in Zbrush I think and not especially photoscan...

How can I solve this please ?

Hello Mazaki1444,

I'll try to find the thread here on forum that, unless I am mistaken, provides the information regarding similar workflow and proper handling with the model orientation and scale.

Mazak1444,

Once you import your mesh into Zbrush and drop it in your workspace the next step is to hit the edit icon in the tool bar up left. This will prevent you from scaling/rotatind/moving it when working on it.

I have this same issue but when exporting into Blender, not changing the orientation, scale, etc. and then re-importing back into Metashape and it is moved away, different size, and I can't texture it properly.

Hello smiller,

If you then import to the same new Blender workspace the original Metashape model and the edited model that you are trying to import back - are they properly positioned in the same location or they are placed in different locations and have different size and orienation?
