BUILDING NEW WORKSTATION PC - intel i9 XE or threadripper 2990WX

Guru's and other expert in agisoft pls help me decide in choosing my parts.. I already have a budget to build a new workstation PC just for agisoft. any recommendation and ideas will be much appreciated.

Hello aceproject,

What would be the typical projects you are planning to work on (type of the project, number/resolution of images, processing stages)?

Also please specify, if you are planning to use GPUs (which models and how many of cards) and what would be the amount of RAM on the workstation?

Thanks for the quick response Alexey Pasumansky. Im working with large maps and were trying to update our GIS with high resolution maps. we use our UAV's to get data equipped with SONY DSC RX100M3. I already have 128gb RAM and bunch of SSD's and NVME's for cache I just cant decide what CPU to choose. as for my GPUS i have 3 GTX 1080Ti.
