disaggregate error on camera positions
« on: March 30, 2019, 05:27:30 PM »
hi,

we perfomed a flight with a NRTK fixed-wing drone in a very complex Environment using about 60 GCP.

I want check the quality of NRTK GPS in a real world and I saw that in some flight (total 11) the errors are in metric order, in other are very low.
I didn't use camera position for block adjustment so I check distances from original camera positions and recalculated ones after bundle adjustment with GCP.

The results is visible in the Images. I want try to perform a better analisys, maybe with a statistics check of GPS raw data.
There is a way to visualize camera position error in disaggregate way suck the ground point. By the way XYZ error for every frame and not only the media?

Thank you

Hello tuffi,

In the Reference pane you can switch to the Error Values tab and display the individual X, Y and Z errors for every aligned camera.

Thank you Alexey...
I don't know why I didn't think of it :D.

Anyway looking the image do you think that results depends only from GPS data in acquisition phase or can be something in the processing?
