Mavic Pro 2's GPS and EPSG choice
« on: April 04, 2019, 08:50:21 AM »
Hi everyone,

I made a scan of a building with my Mavic Pro 2.
It was in a GPS zone EPSG : 2156.

I did not made any GCP with a precise GPS (that was not asked) but I was wondering if I use the GPS coordinates from the drone, as it is not very precise, should I use the local EPSG (2156) or the worldwide global EPSG 4326 ?

Thanks !

Without a precise datas I suggest to create a model without coordinate for the aligment phase and only for the successive step add spatial information without repeat bundle adjustment...So you can only traslate the model in the world without add spatial error in the geometry.
The RS is up to you...it's a simply traslation...
