about 15% measurement errors on model
« on: May 05, 2019, 04:01:58 AM »
Hi,

I have to make a scaled model of some statues. I shot them including markers on the three axis, a scalebar, but still all the measures on the models are about 15% different than on the objects. Not completely wrong, just 10 to 20% wrong, with no constant error.
I've redone the process several times, shot extra picts with extra 3D scales and bars, and it's still a little wrong.
What's happening, what can I do?
Thank you for your advices

Do you have any idea of why it happens, after including scalebars and scales and targets ? The most frustrating is not to have completely wrong measurements but almost right...

Hello Krabay,

If possible, please send the aligned project in PSZ format with the placed markers/scalebars to support@agisoft.com, so that we could check it.
