ultra high settings alignement

What  is the difeerence between high and ultra high settings if high is 100% resolution?
In wich case ise better use it?

As stated in the user manual Ultra- High it the image upscaled by 4X while High is 1X (100%)

what is the utility to  upscale a  photos if not encrease extra information?
