Match Accuracy Wierd Results (over 300 iterations)
« on: May 10, 2019, 01:19:24 PM »
Hello!
(I'm not sure if it is general or python scripting)

For the context I'm doing my end-of-study work about photogrammetry, my ultimate goal is to be able to advice the best way to set up the parameters, number of pictures,.. to have the best results with a given calculus time.
For that I've set up a loop that is building models with specific parameters, and then compare the point cloud to a reference model.
All of the iteration are from the same facade, and use the same region of this facade.
I'm looping through different set of photos with different camera objectives too.

As I got my 300 first iteration, I got this weird result about the match accuracy parameter (See attached picture).
As you can see on the bottom right, i have the average mean distance (Cloud to Cloud), for each match accuracy parameters.

I was expecting a linear evolution, but 2 and 0 (corresponding to Medium and Highest) are not corresponding to my expectation.

Any idea of the cause of this ?
Is this just my data who is causing this or am I missing something?

Thanks
(Sorry about my English).
