Export orthomosaic background color
« on: March 09, 2013, 12:41:47 PM »
Hello,

when exporting orthomosaic, the not-mapped areas or masked areas are BLACK color. Would it be possible to change that color to User-selected color or trasparent?

When printing maps, that black is weird, crap and ink-consuming also!

Regards.

If you export the orthophoto as tif, you should find that the file has 4 instead of the regular 3 RGB channels. The 4th channel is the transparency or mask channel. Depending on the software you use, this will be recognised (e.g., GlobalMapper recognises it correctly). This works for files exported as tif, but not for jpg.
