line on the Photo Question

Hi,

so I upgrade to Metashape from Photoscan and when I placed a marker for each photo and I  came across this.

I want to know why and what does the black line show up on my photo ? I did not drew it or anything but it looks like when the flag turns green and it shows up?

It's the marker's residual error.

You can turn them on/off somewhere but can't remember where.

It indicates the direction and magnitude of the difference between the place the marker was placed and it's estimated position.

It corresponds to the 'error' column in the reference pane for markers.

Look at markers section on page 71 and photo pane section on page 114 of the manual.
