Mask from model
« on: June 24, 2019, 09:17:48 AM »
Hello,

Not sure if it' a bug or some mistakes from me, but when using mask from model for all photos in a chunk, I always get an offset on the masked area.
See attachment please.
Any ideas?
Thanks and best regards!

Hello Sébastien,

I've checked masking from model on some random project and haven't observed this issue. So in your case it could be caused by the incorrect alignment for some cameras.

Do you face the same problem in other projects?

Hi Alexey,

Thanks for your reply.
Yes indeed I have this problem with other projects (apparently when using cutom CRS WGS 84/UTM36N with EGM 2008).
For this one, all my photos are aligned  and optimized with gradual selection (using GCP) before creating the mesh.
The max error with GCP is about 1 cm.
I don't have any geottag information in the exif data of the photos.
May I send you some photos with xml file for markers and my prj in order to check on your sie where the issue could come from?
Thanks for your feddback!

Hello Sébastien,

You can send the project file in PSZ format with the alignment results and mesh model (depth maps and dense cloud are not required), so that we could reproduce the problem on our side.
