Button to display lines or polygon indicate overlaps ?
« on: June 25, 2019, 07:33:14 PM »

So when working with aerial photographs wheater they be in old historical aerial photography or today's aerial photograph with color, May I suggest to Agisoft to try and build a button to display the "lines" where the overlap are ?

Because without it, it is very diffcult to know which one is overlap or not...

Do anyone out there agree with me or not ?

Thumbs up or thumbs down ???

Hello PROBERT1968,

As a workaround you can use the following script to generate the image footprints as a separate shape layer:
https://github.com/agisoft-llc/metashape-scripts/blob/master/src/footprints_to_shapes.py

Thank you for your reply.  It is good to know   BUT what i mean is to display an "imaginary line" after you align the photos in Metashape.

Thank you.
I ran it and got what I wanted BUT I was not expecting the whole one... I'd would have like to see it as each photo invidual from the photo

it is the similiar idea you would export to Orthophotos  rather than Orthomosaic .
