colour balance for mosaics MicaSense camera
« on: July 04, 2019, 02:01:36 AM »
I'm attempting to create a mosaic from individual (5 band) images from a Micasense RedEdge M.  The band to band co-registration is quite good, and the overall orthomosaic looks relatively free of artifacts. However, the image to image colour matching is horrible (I've attached a small example).

I'm assuming that the standard work flow includes lens distortion correction. I've tried to colour balance the images, and that has not helped. The attached example is from a mosaic following the colour calibration.

Is anyone else struggling with this?

Hello Perry2009,

Does this picture represent the RGB bands? Have use used the reflectance calibration operation (applied to the original images)?
Best regards,
