IMU Data Metashape
« on: July 16, 2019, 10:53:03 AM »
Hi,

I am using a Multi Camera system and Metashape Software. I processed my images once only with GPS-Data and once with GPS and IMU data (my Text-Datei for Import includes GPS+IMU Data). The Results for Roll, Pitch and yaw are the same!

The question is: Does Metashape uses IMU data? When yes, how? and why the results are *with IMU * and * without IMU *the same? What am i doing wrong?

Thanks!

Hello Maryam,

If you would like to have IMU orientation data utilized, please make sure that the check boxes in the Reference pane that stand next to Yaw column are enabled for all the cameras and the corresponding measurement accuracy is input to the "camera accuracy (deg)" field in the Reference pane settings dialog.

After that we suggest to optimize the camera alignment.
