Free version of Sputnik GIS 1.4 released

I wanted eveyone to know that when I download to experiment it and my antivirus program came up and said there is a virus on that free software...

I tried to  reply this to the company and let them know but  I could not..

So I am sharing ...

It's Ilya from Geoscan, i'm Sputnik GIS project manager. It seems that your operation system or antivirus program does not identify digital certificate of the program. This could happen because you have not updated your OS or anti-virus software.

Can you please write me what OS and antivirus software do you use?

Antivirus program is Trend Mirco Antivirus+

Anything else do you need to know ?

Thank you, that is all we need. Problem occurs only with Trend Micro Antivirus so we will contact Trend Micro Antivirus+ to figure out what's wrong with our distributive.

We have got a response from Trendmicro on this problem. They proved that http://geoscan.aero web site and Sputnik_1.4.11208_x64.exe file is safe. We requested for a URL / file reclassification request. It will take some time, when it will be finaly solved, we will inform you.

In attachment to this post you will find an official e-mail from Trenmicro on this problem.

Ok, but I got the log file that it tracks down the file that Trend Mirco Antrius+ detected...

It seems that the problem is in Sentinel HASP (software protection driver) installer inside Sputnik GIS distributive. We will also report this problem to TrendMicro.
