Point cloud profile
« on: June 12, 2023, 05:20:33 PM »
In the latest release, we have a tool Calculate Profile that enables us to show a point cloud profile. Very good!

When I draw a line on my point cloud, I get a cloud profile with blue dots representing points on the cloud, whose density varies according to slider rule width of profile. But what does the color graded background (cold to hot as DEM palette) represent? see following...

Maybe some more info on this tool could be helpful,

Hello Paul,

Filled area would represent the current DEM if it is enabled on the toolbar of the Model view (Show DEM) or the terrain height according to the active basemap, if DEM display is disabled.
