Hi,
Your software is great and user-friendly in image processing, but it has deficiency in vector drawing in "ortho view" for mapping projects!
Is it possible to upgrade these tools?

Here are a few:
1: I can't do the new polyline drawing from the exact end point(XYZ) of the previous polyline in "Model" or "ortho" view!
Because it can't snap to that vertex like AutoCAD.
Please add "Vertex, Midle, prependicular, near" for polylines and polygones and "Node(Point)" for point shape.
Note: I know about about "i" & "r" in vector vertex editing but is not enough for good draw!

2: Also, please add an "Undo botton" for situations  we have a mistake to draw last or older vertex.

3: Please add a "rectangle shape" to add shape toolbox.

4: In "Model view" we can use "Right and Middle mouse botton" to change screen when we are drawing a vertex or not.
But in "Ortho view", we can only use "Middle mouse botton" to review all of a DEM or Orthomosaic without changing screen zoom.
But when I start draw a vector, I cant use "Middle or right mouse botton" to change sceen view without changin zoom level!

Note: I hope my explanations can tell what I mean.

Please add Line Type and Line weight like autocad for Vector drawing.
Thanks a lot.
The image of LineType capability, has been atached.

Hello M.B.Bayati,

We are always checking the Feature Requests forum and are recording useful features to our list. So using different styles for shape layers is already in our list, however, it shouldn't be expected in the version 1.6.0 update.
When such feature becomes available, the corresponding information will be included to the Change Log for sure.
Best regards,
Alexey Pasumansky,

Thanks for your checking and answering to most of requests.
The best capability for Metashape in mapping is drawing polyline with snapping on vertices.
Please please please add snapping to Metashape!!!

Yes, I also would like to see snapping functionality for vectorization. Otherwise you end up with gaps and overlaps in your vector coverage. You should be able to snap to lines or vertices of features for which you have already created shapes.
