Dens Point cloud take infinite time to read images!

Hello Alexey,

There are roughly 9.5 million points in the sparse point cloud.  I turned off the GPUs on the Mac OS machine and tried restarting the dense point cloud and it appears to be exhibiting the same behavior.  By the way the settings are lowest accuracy and aggressive depth filtering.

By the way on the Windows machine where I'm testing about half the images the sparse point cloud is about 6.7 million points and also after unchecking the GPUs, the initializing... process appears to be exhibiting the same issue.

Are you observing this problem only for the certain project? If so, can you send the download link to it (with only alignment results) to support@agisoft.com?

The issue could be related to the high grade of the image overlap, issues with the estimated calibration parameters or some incorrectly aligned cameras that have very oblique angle.

Looks like it may be for the particular project as I tested the dense point cloud on a different project with approximately 1100 high overlap images and this initialization completed in approximately 10 seconds and began generating depth maps.

Hello Robert,

I would then suggest to check the estimated cameras - just for case there are any with a very oblique angle and disable them (or reset the alignment for them).

Hello Robert,

The issue appears to be related to the misinterpretation of the fiducial marks in the project. It will be fixed in the next version update.
