exportOrthomosaic vs exportOrthophotos
« on: November 01, 2017, 05:00:19 PM »
Looks like exportOrthomosaic is capable to export large .tif too, so what is the difference between exportOrthomosaic and exportOrthophotos, in documentation they do the same "Export orthophoto for the chunk." But also looks like exportOrthomosaic intent is to export tiles?

Hello photoscan_user,

Export orthophotos operation saves individually orthorectified images for each camera. Export orthomosaic saves stitched and blended raster (even though it may be split into tiles).

Orthophoto in our naming convention is equivalent to orthorectified image.

Ok, but then "Export orthophoto for the chunk." looks confusing for exportOrthophotos.

OK, maybe we should correct the description for this function in API reference.
