Hi,
I need to create a tiled model from data collected with a terrestrial laser scanner.
I have the colored point cloud and the 360 degree photos. I got the instructions from Agisoft support to follow the following workflow:
1. Add photos and select the camera type - Spherical in Camera calibration dialog box.
2. Import e57 points in the project (File > Import > Import Points...)
3. Place markers on a e57 point cloud.
4. Place markers on the photos.
5. Click button Update on the Preference pane (need all the markers to be check in Reference pane).
You can then use the e57 point cloud. Either deselect the e57 point in Workspace pane, build Dense point cloud. Select
both clouds in Workspace pane and merge clouds.
I have added markers in the point cloud and placed them in the photos, but when I click update nothing happens.
So I started testing different solutions.
A) When i try to align the photos, nothing happens. See the settings that I used for photo alignment in the attachment.
In the workspace pane I see that "Cameras (0/9 aligned)" and the photos listed in reference pane have coordinates that look correct. I´m using coordinate system ETRS-GK23 (ESPG 3877)
B) I tried finding a work around and create the tiled model by first creating a textured model (textured with the colors from the point cloud) and then creating a tiled model, but when selecting "Build tiled model" I get a message saying "can´t estimate pixel size).
I´m using version 1.5.5 build 9097 of Metashape professional.
Please help. What would the correct workflow be to create a tiled model from terrestrial laser scanner data?
Best Regards,
Anna
