Does anyone have experience with Radeon 5700 XT?
I plan to upgrade my GPU and my options are:
1. 1 x 980 Ti or maybe even 2 980 Ti (I have found used for 190 euros for one card. Cards are from one seller, excellent condition, used for gaming, not mining)
2. 1 x 1070 Ti used
3. 1 x 1080 Ti also used
and
4. Radeon 5700 XT new card with warranty
I know that the most important thing for Nvidia cards is the number of CUDA cores, I assume the same goes for AMD cards.
So I expect similar processing power from 1070 Ti and 5700 XT.
The only thing that worries me is the unexpected death of used cards. I saw 980 Ti dying in front of my eyes a few days ago

my hardware is:
Ryzen 7 1700X - 8 cores
x370 motherboard
2x8 GB of RAM (I ordered 64 GB kit)
GTX 1050 Ti (4 GB) (could find anything good for a reasonable price during mining mania in begging of 2018th

, same goes for RAM)
SSD and NVMe drives
I usually process datasets containing a few hundred aerial photos from P4, but sometimes thousands of images from 4 to 20k of images in a combination with LiDAR point cloud. And really oblique photos of monuments (10 - 400 photos)
Thanks for your answers!
