DEM grayed out on Workflow menu

Hi all,

Sorry if this is (most probably is indeed) a dumb question, but I can't find any solution for it neither on the user's manual nor here on previous posts:

I have done align photos, build dense cloud, build mesh, build texture already, so this is my current chunk right now: (see workspace.png attached).

The user manual says we can get the DEM from several sources, one of which is the dense cloud, so I figured I would be able to run the DEM, but alas the option is grayed out on the workpath menu (see workflow.png attached).

Any idea of why this is happening?
How to generate a DEM from this point on?

Have you set your projection ?

Ah, didn't know it was needed, the other software I had tried did it automatically.

After importing reference coordinates from EXIF GPS data the Build DEM became available.
