Camera Calibration using Mavic 2 Pro

Dear Support

We are facing trouble in Aligning dataset captured using Mavic 2 pro.
Following are the options we used for aligning the dataset.
1. Camera calibration using the auto option
2. Camera calibration using Auto option with rolling shutter enabled.
3. Camera calibration using pre calibration.

It would be helpful, if you could share the sample dataset and some visual description of the problem (screenshots or the project saved after alignment) to support@agisoft.com, as currently there's no sufficient information regarding the troubles that you are facing.

Thank you for sending the report files. In all the cases the estimated values for Cx and Cy (principle point location) are quite off (also B1 and B2 values are unreasonable).

The values in GUI (Metashape 1.6) for Cx and Cy represent the offset from the image center, while in you XML it is estimated from top-right corner of the image.
The autocalibration of the parameters may also lead to the incorrect Cx, Cy, B1 and B2 parameters estimation, if the camera is mounted on gimbal and has always the same orientation in global space, regardless of the flight direction. For more accurate and stable autocalibration results it is suggested to have the camera 180 degree rotated in the end of flight lines, as it gives more information to the algorithms.

Meanwhile, for the current project I can suggest to skip loading of the XML file, fix Cx, Cy, B1 and B2 parameters in the Camera Calibration dialog. Then run Align Photos operation with "adaptive camera model fitting" option disabled. Also I recommend to use 1.6.2 version.

I have a question related to the same topic.
I have a Mavic 2 pro and Agisoft standard and i am trying to follow the process to get a 3D model of a field.
When i start to allign the pictures all the time i get the same strange result.
The shape of the field is curved.
Mavic 2 suffer of rolling shutter and so i tried to activate the rolling shutter compensation in camera allignement but the result is worse.
I attach some screenshot.
Someone can help me to have a right setup for this drone?

Did you ever resolve the issue with this? I too am having lots of issues with M2Pro and the rolling shutter compensation.
