I use a static rig containing 8 cameras setup in a studio, and was wondering if it's possible to re-use the positions of each camera on recurring image sets, so I can maintain scale for each chunk created? There's  'import cameras' in the tools drop down, but unsure of its format extension, and equally unaware of how to export these cameras, and does that mean positions would be included? The reason I want to maintain scale across chunks is so I can use a method of non-rigid alignment to create a final mesh.

best regards

Hello Mike,

You can export camera positions using "Export points" command in "File" menu and then import it into another project. After you have selected proper file you'd be asked to rebuild point cloud using imported data - I think it is directly what you are asking about. It is recommended to select export using PhotoScan xml structure, because bundler format does not save all the data.

Unfortunately version 0.8.2 build 958 has a problem with point cloud export which will be fixed be the next update on this weekend.
