Some Photos failed to align!!!
« on: April 23, 2020, 02:50:45 PM »
Hello to all Agisoft members,

I have taken several photos from several "2D Photogrammetry" mission by P4 RTK.

But, non of those photos can be aligned by Agisoft!!

I have no issues with "3D Photogrammetry" missions by P4 RTK and they can be aligenned without any problem. This is the first time for me to process "2D Photogrammetry" Photos.

Please see one of my flights photos in link below:

Does anyone know how to rectify this problem?

Best regards,

KKH

Hello KKh,

Is there's any overlap at all between the images in this set?

Hi Alexey,

Thank you for your response.

You are right. I took the photos from 3m above ground. But, GSD was adjusted for 25m (i.e. 0.68cm/pixel) because DJI GS RTK App does not allow me to decrease height lower than 25m but I can adjust relative height for Home Point.

Basically, the overlap between my photos are 17%! which is not enough for photogrammetry.

Just wondering if you know how to change Height (not relative height) in DJI GS RTK App to for example 3m to get better GSD?

The next question is what is the difference between "Shooting Mode : timed shooting or distance shooting"? Does it impact the quality of Photogrammetry results?

Best regards,

KKH

Hello KKH,

Hopefully, more experienced users would comment here regarding the DJI app settings and proper mode to set up a low altitude flight.
