Attributes in a point norm calculation
« on: May 14, 2020, 02:09:25 PM »
Dear all,

I m calculating the norm of a point in the sparse cloud. In the coordinates attributes are 4 values, x , y, z and w. Does anyone know the attribute w mean?
I saw that w is included in the norm calculation and I'm a bit confused with it.

Regards,
Diogo

Hello Diogo,

w is always 1 for the point coordinates. So you can use only first three components as vector.
