Photo has bright and darker on an aerial photo question
« on: May 15, 2020, 04:00:48 PM »
Good morning.  It is almost 7 am here in Colorado, USA time...

I have a question for you all about a photo or a few  photos I have...

I have a photo that looks like this

https://gis.stackexchange.com/questions/361735/photo-has-bright-and-darker-on-an-aerial-photo-question#comment591861_361735

but my question here is would that possible for me to fix it in Agisoft Texture De-Lighter ?

The reason I am asking is because I am starting a new project after I finished my previous project. This a new project I am working on.

Thanks

Hi Robert,
do you mean correcting the bright stripe on the left? AFAIK, this is not possible with the Delighting tool since it's designed for quite a different use case.
s.k. gave you a good answer on stackexchange.
Cheers.

Arie,

Thank for your quick respond. That is the reason I was asking to see if it is worth a try with De-Lighter....

Yes , I am trying to try of something to try and use something such as software that I could use to correct.

I personally have ERDAS, ArcGIS Desktop 10.7.1, ArcGIS Pro, ER Mapper  .

I would be suprised if ERDAS doesn't have the capabilities to correct this effect but I haven't used it in many many years.
But as s.k. said, you could just use "simple" image processing software to manually correct this.
All the best.
